About Family Literacy Festival

Family Literacy Festival is a free, family-friendly event that offers a full day of fun and enrichment—featuring engaging activities, local vendors, live performances, author readings, and entertainment for children. This annual event celebrates learning, creativity, and inclusion. 

Increasing Literacy Access

By removing financial barriers, the festival ensures that all families can participate and benefit. Every child in attendance will receive literacy-themed gifts, books, and back-to-school supplies.

Vendor & Sponsor Application

Complete the Vendor Interest Form.

Food Trucks:

The City of Worcester Food Permit is required. Once you fill out this application all Food/Truck Vendors names will be given to the City's Food & inspection Division & the staff will contact you to obtain the permit. It is the vendor's responsibility to secure their own permits before the event. 

General Festival Fee: $150

Crafters and Artisans:

to sell and show their handmade goods and wares. 

Festival Fee: $75

Authors & Publishing Companies:

Authors are able to promote and sell their own books and merchandise. 

Festival Fee: $75

Non-Profits or Professional Organizations:

to promote their mission, programs, events and provide entertainment. Non-profit or Professional Organization vendors must include an literacy themed interactive element with their table. 

Festival Fee: $100

Performers:

Performances will be scheduled throughout the day. There is no cost to be a performer.
