Wise Roots brings adults ages 60+ together for a day of social connection, games, health support, and learning opportunities. The program promotes well-being, belonging, and continued contribution to the community.

GOALS:

Build community and reduce social isolation.

Promote health and wellness through regular screenings and physical exercise.

Encourage lifelong learning and contribution through volunteering and sharing of acquired experience.

Celebrate wisdom by providing elders a platform to share their experiences.
VOLUNTEERING:

Participants who sign up for volunteering opportunities receive training and orientation.

SCENSOB arranges transportation and accompaniment to volunteer sites.
Community volunteers needed to assist with tasks such as serving meals, leading activities, and supporting individuals with various abilities.
