About the event
Wise Roots aims to bring adults ages 60+ for a day of social connection, games, health support, and learning opportunities. The program promotes well-being, belonging, and continued contribution to the community.
Monthly at the Worcester Public Library (Saxe Room) from 10am-2pm

Volunteer opportunities for elders to share life experiences with youth and the community
GOALS:
Build community and reduce social isolation.
Promote health and wellness through regular screenings and physical exercise.
Encourage lifelong learning and contribution through volunteering and sharing of acquired experience.
Celebrate wisdom by providing elders a platform to share their experiences.
VOLUNTEERING
Seniors who sign up for volunteering opportunities receive training and orientation.
Transportation is available
Community volunteers needed to assist with tasks such as serving meals, leading activities, and supporting individuals with various abilities.
